one of our great memories is mom making vegetable soup. This is a recipe that is all about your taste and what you have on hand for veggies. You can be as creative as you want to be with it!

Ingredients
  

  • water
  • chopped carrots
  • chopped onion
  • chopped green pepper
  • large dice potatoes
  • green beans fresh or frozen
  • corn frozen or fresh off cob
  • cans of tomato soup
  • ketchup
  • salt and pepper for flavoring to you liking
  • fresh tomatoes if you desire
  • celery
  • cauliflower if you don't have cabbage on hand
  • fried hamburger
  • instant minute rice

Instructions
 

  • Fill pot with water to 3/4 full
  • Add chopped carrots, celery, green pepper and onion. Cook until vegetables are half soft.
  • Add large diced potatoes, green beans, corn and cabbage
  • Cook until done.
  • Add 2 cans tomato soup. Feel free to add more tomato soup if you want a stronger tomato flavor. Add some ketchup, salt, and pepper. Flavor to your liking
  • Add rice and fried hamburger if you desire. cook until rice is tender.
  • Serve
